Effect of Electrolysis on Activated Sludge during the Hydrolysis and Acidogenesis Stages in the Anaerobic Digestion of Poultry Manure

This paper focuses on the study of effect electrolysis activated sludge in a microbial cell (MEC) under anaerobic digestion poultry manure. was conducted using bioreactor design with and without electrodes (conventional condition). Measurements pH, redox potential (ORP), total dissolved solids were carried out, as microscopy during treatment gasometry. There an increase yields CH4 CO2 compared to conventional conditions. Thus, 14th day, there yield 35.1% conditions—31.6%—as well 53.5% electrodes—37.7%. Visually, showed changes aggregation process itself, formation cells clusters microorganism colonies branches delineated shape. ORP fluctuations related dissociation into ions passage electric current through electrodes, observed before after inclusion system. A model developed, taking account influencing factors condition sludge.
